Parking at the port​

At the Bilbao Ferry Port, there are two parking areas available:

  • P1: This is the largest parking area located right next to the terminal. It operates 24/7 and accommodates both cars and trucks. The parking fee is £13 per 24 hours.
  • P2: This smaller parking area is situated a bit further from the terminal. It is open from 08:00 to 20:00 and is only for cars. The parking fee is £9 per 24 hours.

The journey from Bilbao to Rosslare takes about 26 hours and 30 minutes and can be booked starting from £40 for a one-way trip without transport.

Especially during the peak season, this route tends to be quite popular, and it’s possible for the sailings to be fully booked. Additionally, prices can be significantly higher during this time. Therefore, it can be advantageous to book tickets in advance. Sometimes, early bird prices are available if you book a ticket 60 days before departure, which can result in substantial savings.

How to get to the port?

By own transport​

The Bilbao Ferry Port is easily accessible by car. Take exit N-644 from the A-8 towards Santurtzi/Portua and follow the signs to the port. Parking facilities are available at the port.

Public transport​

You can also reach the Bilbao Ferry Port by bus or train. Direct buses run from the center of Bilbao to the port. Alternatively, you can take the train to Santurtzi station and transfer to bus 33 to the port.

Taxi and transfer services​

Taxis are also available to the Bilbao Ferry Port, with a journey time of approximately 15 minutes from the center of Bilbao.

By foot

For those who prefer to walk, the Bilbao Ferry Port is about a 30-minute walk from the center of Bilbao, offering a pleasant stroll along the Nervión River.
